“The Ghetto: This Joy I Have…” is the culminating performance of an eight-week therapeutic arts camp for Black girls, rooted in healing, storytelling, and joy. Presented by The Legends House, this bold, poetic, and deeply emotional production weaves together dance, spoken word, and theatre to explore themes of grief, PTSD, resilience, and Black girlhood in America.

This production is more than a show — it is a declaration of hope, a celebration of survival, and a call to amplify the voices of young women whose stories often go unheard.
